A 30-year-old mother has issued a serious warning about vaping after contracting a respiratory infection which “fried” her lungs to the point of giving her “octogenarian” organs.

Hannah Roth, from Tennessee, said the first signs of her illness were a popping sound she heard when she inhaled. The latter estimated that this symptom was caused by her four years of vaping.

The mother, who had never smoked before, started vaping during the pandemic to manage her stress. She used her vape “every hour of the day.”

However, last month, the young woman developed a high fever. Her temperature rose to 40 degrees, prompting her to go to the hospital. He was then diagnosed with pneumonia which would have been caused by vaping, according to doctors.

X-rays of his lungs revealed that his organs resembled those of an 80-year-old who had smoked for several years.

The young woman then confided that the doctor threw her e-cigarette in the trash, warning her “that she was going to die if she continued.”

“It really scared me. I knew right away that I had to stop to stay with my children,” she said.
