A 17-year-old driver from Texas allegedly tried to make an Interac transfer to police officers who came to arrest him for killing a homeless woman, according to the Daily Mail.

Hunter Cameron Villasana is accused of killing a person in his 50s while driving his car.

Citizens who saw the fatal accident reportedly claimed to have heard the driver trying to pay the police using the Venmo transfer platform.

The young driver allegedly over-speeded before hitting the woman who found herself on the sidewalk.

His parents paid the $200,000 bail for his release and the driver must respect several conditions such as wearing an electronic bracelet.

He faces several charges, including drunk driving causing death.
