Like many families, the Trumps did not escape the traditional family photo in front of the Christmas tree during the holiday season, but seem to have forgotten one of their own since Melania Trump is absent, to the surprise of many Internet users.
“Where is Melania? I’m not the only one who noticed that she wasn’t in the photo,” wrote a user on X.
“Imagine a family photo without your wife? He’s a pathetic human being,” reacted another user, criticizing former US President Donald Trump.
These are just some of the many reactions that were shared on social media after the photo was published as a story on the Instagram account of Kimberly Guilfoyle, the wife of Donald Trump Jr., on Tuesday.
The photo was taken in front of a huge fir tree at the former head of state’s Mar-a-Lago residence. At his side are his children and grandchildren, including his son Barron whom he had with Melania, but no trace of Donald Trump’s wife.
A return to the forefront?
However, Melania Trump is reportedly preparing a big return to the public stage in 2024 and is planning several appearances to support her husband’s candidacy for the presidential elections, reported Page Six.
“Mr. Trump and his family are so sure he will become president again that Mar-a-Lago insiders say he has made a deal with (his wife) Melania (Trump) to increase high-profile diplomatic appearances in 2024. a source told the media.
After an absence from the public sphere, the former first lady reappeared at the funeral of Rosalynn Carter, wife of former President Jimmy Carter, last November.
