The blessed Ramadan is not just a month for worship and fasting, but rather an active economic season in Iraq. The importance of this month is evident in increasing demand for various goods and services, which puts the Iraqi commercial personalities a great responsibility in meeting the needs of the fasting people and stimulating local markets.
Iraqi commercial personalities are highlighted as active elements in the Ramadan economic session, as they work to provide food commodities, drinks and various products, and contribute to the regulation of markets and stimulate the commercial movement.
The role of these people is not only limited to the economic side, but also extends to the social and human aspects, as many merchants are keen to support charitable activities, provide assistance to the needy, and contribute to the revival of authentic Ramadan traditions and customs.
Ramadan with the eyes of merchants

Al -Ziyadi tells Al -Jazeera Net that Ramadan affects positively and encourages people to shop, meet and interact, besides being the month of obedience, faith and goodness.

With regard to the charitable aspect, Al -Ziyadi explained that giving and cooperation with the poor represent an essential part of the spirit of Ramadan for merchants.
For his part, Muhammad al -Baghdadi, one of the businessmen and head of the National Center for Control and Evaluation, says that the commercial activity in the month of Ramadan is witnessing noticeable changes compared to the rest of the year, especially in the first third of it.
Recovery in the markets
