Manhattan Tribune’s correspondent said, today, Friday, that violent clashes are taking place between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation forces, in the Al-Maghazi camp and the Al-Zawaida neighborhood in the central Gaza Strip, in conjunction with continuous air and artillery bombardment.

The correspondent confirmed that this evening, Israeli warplanes launched a series of violent raids on residential neighborhoods west and south of Gaza City, and that violent Israeli artillery shelling targeted Al-Maghazi camp, amid intense firing of smoke bombs.

This comes after the fall of dozens of martyrs in Israeli bombing and raids in southern Gaza yesterday evening and at dawn today, on the 98th day of the war on the Strip, while the Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression since last October 7 had risen to 23,708 deaths.

The Ministry said – in a statement – that it had monitored the Israeli occupation committing 13 massacres against the people of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, claiming the lives of 151 martyrs, noting that the number of those injured since the start of the war had risen to 60,050.

She added, “A number of victims of the Israeli bombing are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.”

Media sources reported that the occupation army launched raids and violent artillery shelling between Rafah, in the southern end of the Gaza Strip, and Khan Yunis, where large numbers of displaced people from the north are stationed.

The Ministry of Health said, “More than 59 martyrs and dozens of wounded arrived at hospitals in attacks after midnight and dawn today, Friday, in various areas in the Gaza Strip.”

The Israeli army also announced that it killed 7 “fighters” in a strike in Khan Yunis, and 20 others in Al-Maghazi in the north.

Communications interruption

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Telecommunications Company announced today, Friday, a complete interruption of cellular, landline, and Internet services in the Gaza Strip. As a result of the continued Israeli aggression.

On the other hand, the international charity Oxfam said that the daily death toll in Gaza is higher than in any other major conflict during the current century.

The organization’s Sally Abi Khalil said that it is “unimaginable” for the international community to stand by and watch while the killings continue in Gaza.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli army is waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip for the 98th day in a row, causing widespread destruction of buildings and infrastructure, and an unprecedented humanitarian crisis, the majority of whose victims are children and women.
