A Food Lion supermarket employee was reportedly found dead by co-workers Tuesday after spending the night in a freezer at his workplace in North Raleigh, North Carolina.

The Raleigh Police Department was reportedly called to the scene Tuesday morning after employees on the morning shift found their co-worker’s body, CBS17 reported Tuesday.

According to the investigation, the man suffered a medical emergency on Monday evening, before dying during the night in the freezer where he was.

At this time, no criminal act is suspected, the police force told the American media, specifying that the investigation would also be led by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to shed light on the circumstances of this death.
