Palestinian Red Crescent paramedic Ahmed Abu Foul spoke about the Israeli occupation targeting their home in the northern Gaza Strip, and his inability until this moment to recover the martyrs from his children, his father, and his brother’s family, who have been under the rubble for 4 days.
In a video clip for Manhattan Tribune while he was at work for the 70th day in a row, Abu Foul says: “Our house, with approximately 80 people in it, was targeted by direct bombardment from Israeli warplanes. There were martyrs and injuries, and my toll of martyrs up to this moment is 28 martyrs, including my five sons and my brother.” And his children and my father.”
The grief-stricken man added from inside the ambulance, his tears overwhelming him: “What is more difficult than the bombing and the martyrdom of my family is that my children have been under the rubble until this moment for 4 days, and the occupation army is in front of our house until this moment and all the martyrs are under the rubble, and there is no coordination for our entry to retrieve them.”
The paramedic explained that he tried to enter the first day of the bombing to retrieve the martyrs, but he was exposed to direct fire from the occupation army and withdrew from the place, and he hoped that the crews would be able to recover the martyrs as soon as possible.
