Director of the Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Gaza, Thomas White, said on Wednesday that there were a large number of casualties after a center housing 10,000 displaced people caught fire in Khan Yunis after it was exposed to Israeli bombing.
White pointed out that fire broke out in the center’s buildings, that there were many injuries, people were trapped, and the occupation prevented safe access to the place.
Manhattan Tribune’s correspondent also confirmed that an Israeli artillery bombardment targeted the building of the School of Industry in Khan Yunis, which houses thousands of displaced people and has been besieged by the occupation forces for several days, leaving martyrs and wounded.
