Two young men were attacked on a New York subway train at the Times Square station, a popular tourist destination, the New York Post.
A 15-year-old boy was shot in the hand, while the other 16-year-old was stabbed in the abdomen, authorities told the American media outlet..
The tragedy occurred shortly before 7 a.m. Thursday morning. The victims knew the suspect, according to police.
Both teens were taken to hospital and are in stable condition. Authorities have not identified them.

No arrests have been made, but an investigation is ongoing.
