A prosecutor at Donald Trump’s trial in New York said Tuesday evening in his indictment that the ex-president’s intention to cheat to hide payments to an adult film actress before his victorious election in 2016 “could not be more obvious.

Defense and prosecution engaged in a final showdown on Tuesday in the historic criminal trial of the former President of the United States, the last act before the 12 jurors retire on Wednesday to decide on a verdict.
