Donald Trump boasted on Wednesday of his almost daily conversations with Benjamin Netanyahu, claiming to have a “very good relationship” with the Israeli prime minister.

“Bibi called me yesterday, he had called me the day before,” said the Republican candidate for the White House, about Mr. Netanyahu.
“We have a very good relationship,” he said at a campaign rally in the US state of Georgia.
And added: “We will work with them very closely.”
Donald Trump had already reported a telephone conversation between the two men on Saturday, assuring that the Israeli leader wanted to “know our point of view on the issues”.
The last public call between Joe Biden and Benjamin Netanyahu dates back to October 17, during which the American president “congratulated” his Israeli counterpart on the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinouar, according to the White House.
During his visit to the American Congress at the end of July, Benjamin Netanyahu paid a vibrant tribute to Donald Trump, thanking him for “everything he has done for Israel”.
