(Washington) Donald Trump ordered his administration on Friday to “immediately cease all use” of Anthropic’s artificial intelligence (AI), after the Californian start-up refused to open it without restriction to the American army.

“I am ordering ALL federal agencies of the United States Government to IMMEDIATELY CEASE all use of Anthropic’s technology. We don’t need them, we don’t want them, and we won’t work with them anymore,” thundered the American president on his Truth Social platform.
Donald Trump called Anthropic’s refusal to grant the US military unrestricted use of its AI a “disastrous mistake”. “Their selfishness endangers American lives, our troops and national security,” he accused.
