The Trump Foundation signed its first real estate development agreement in Qatar, which included the construction of a golf stadium and residential villas near the capital, Doha, according to the “Al -Diyar Al -Qatar” real estate investment company.
Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Foundation and the son of the American President, attended the signing ceremony with “Qatari Diyar” and its real estate development partner “Global Dar”.
The Trump International Golf Stadium, which contains 18 holes and residential villas, will be built within the Smissima project, a huge development project supported by the Qatari government, which was revealed last year, and will also include an entertainment park and a marina of yacht.
“We are very proud to expand the Trump brand in Qatar through this exceptional cooperation with the Qatari homes and Dar Global,” said in a statement, adding, “The Trump International Golf Club in Smissima and the luxury boils will reflect our highest quality standards.”
Establishing the status of Qatar
For his part, the Qatari Municipal Minister of the Board of Directors of the Qatari Diyar Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al -Attiyah expressed his happiness in cooperation with the Global House “to attract the Trump brand to the Semisma project, which reflects our continuous commitment to developing international urban projects that combine luxury and the authentic Qatari nature.”
“Through this cooperation, we look forward to consolidating Qatar’s position as a preferred destination for investment, tourism and luxury housing at the regional and international levels,” Al -Attiyah added.
The Trump Foundation has previously held partnerships with the “Global House”, which is the international arm of the Saudi “Al Arkan” real estate development company, which included a tall tower in the coastal city of Jeddah, a luxury building in Dubai, and a hotel complex in Oman.
Donald Trump is scheduled to visit Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE next month, in his first major foreign tour since his return to the White House in January.
In January, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman promised to expand investments and trade relations with the United States during the next four years, with $ 600 billion “candidate to rise.”
