Donald Trump does nothing like the others. He is the first billionaire elected to the presidency. He is also the first president to undergo two impeachment proceedings, to reject the election results, to be convicted of sexual assault and financial fraud. He is also the first president to be charged in a criminal trial, not once, but in four different trials.

On each of these occasions, it was believed that his popularity would plummet and that this would spell the end of his political career.
It had the opposite effect. He feeds on this controversy and defines himself as the anti-system candidate.
His popularity level is still high. He obtained 46.1% of the vote in 2016, 46.9% in 2020 and still maintains 46% support today after distribution of the undecided.
Attacks on the system
He brought down the Republican Party and the entire American political system.
He made the media bend and favored the rise of far-right media.
He is now attacking the American justice system, which he is trying to bend in turn.
He may have made everyone buckle, but not porn actress Stormy Daniels. She stands up to him despite personal attacks, intimidation and media pressure.
It is a face to face which will influence the results of the presidential campaign.
During the six-week trial, he must convince jurors that he paid $280,000 to pornstar Stormy Daniels and ex-playmate Karen McDougal, to silence them but, at the same time, deny that he allegedly had sexual relations with them.
How will Melania react?
I can’t wait to see his wife Melania’s reaction at the end of this trial. Regardless of the sentence, he is in deep trouble!
Our most recent Leger poll in the United States shows that Donald Trump risks, for the first time, losing up to 6% of the vote if he is found guilty.
He would go from 43% to 37% and would hardly win the presidential election. This image of Donald Trump handcuffed in an orange suit would forever offend his aura of invincibility.
Conversely, if he is found innocent, he could not only maintain his 46% support, but also convince the undecided that this whole spectacle is a “witch hunt”. This would give him the momentum to return to the White House.
Of paramount importance
This trial is one of the most important in recent history. It will decide not only the outcome of the American presidential election but also the fate of the planet.
The twelve members of the jury have the fate of the world on their shoulders.
Let justice be done!
Under fine
- April 30: Donald Trump was fined US$9,000 for publicly attacking witnesses and jurors on the sidelines of his criminal trial. The judge threatened to incarcerate him if he did it again.
- Since the start of the trial on April 15, prosecutors had requested several times that Trump be sanctioned for his repeated violations of the ban on attacking key witnesses in the case, such as his former lawyer Michael Cohen or the ex-star Stormy Daniels porn, or even to the jurors, who he implies are not impartial.
