A woman allegedly shot her parents dead in their home in the US state of Utah on Tuesday evening, according to local police.
Mia Bailey, who police say wears wigs and frequently changes her appearance, was arrested Wednesday after a pursuit that lasted several hours.
Police warned she was considered “armed and dangerous” while she was still at large.
Gunshots were heard at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at a home in Washington, southwest Utah, near the Arizona border.
The bodies of a woman and a man, both shot, were found in the living room, according to city police.
Although police did not specify the relationship between those killed and Mme Bailey, records show the would-be killer shared the home where the massacre of Joseph Bailey, 70, and Gail Bailey, 69, took place.
“We have the suspect in custody. Everyone is safe. No other person was injured,” said Tiffany Mitchell of the St. George Police Department.
