Residents of Kankakee, Illinois, observed Thursday morning the considerable damage caused by a tornado that left at least two dead.

Roofs were torn off houses and debris littered the ground as clean-up operations were underway in the area.

More than one tornado may have hit the small town, with winds reaching up to 150 mph.
