Two reckless people who ventured into a swamp full of alligators were finally rescued after losing their bearings shortly before Christmas in Florida.

The rescue occurred in Hillsborough County, in the central US state.

The video of the intervention, made possible thanks to aviation, was published by local authorities

Spotted with a flashlight, the two men were brought back to the entrance to the Cypress Creek Natural Area.

They spent “hours” in the alligator-filled swamp.

According to Hillsborough County police, the two men were not injured.
