“We started working to prepare to activate the global transfer system Swift,” he said, explaining that reactivating it would facilitate export and reduce the prices of imports.

Against the background of the violations of the Bashar al -Assad regime and its massacres in the suppression of the revolution in Syria since 2011, the United States, the European Union and other countries, including Britain, imposed sanctions on Syria, which included freezing assets, stopping financial transfers, depriving technology, and prohibiting dealing with its system.
Since the overthrow of the Assad regime, the new Syrian administration, led by Ahmed Al -Shara, has been calling for the lifting of these sanctions, because it hinders the reconstruction efforts.
