(Washington) An American court of appeal again canceled the negotiated sentence for Khalid Cheikh Mohammed, considered the “brain” of the attacks of September 11, 2001 on Friday, further delaying the holding of this capital trial before a military court.
By a majority of two votes against one, the Washington Court of Appeal, the capital, re -established the decision of the previous defense secretary, Lloyd Austin, who revoked in August 2024 the negotiated sentence for Khalid Cheikh Mohammed and his two co -cores, which would undoubtedly have avoided the capital punishment.
