Dubai International Airport arrived today the first Syrian Airlines plane coming from Damascus International Airport, marking the return of direct flights between Syria and the UAE.
This return falls within an exceptional first stage announced by the Syrian Airlines in an official statement, through which it aims to restore the regular air linking with the Emirates.
Syrian Airlines explained that this flight will follow a regular table throughout the week, with plans to increase the number of flights during the coming period.

Syrian Airlines indicated that it will travel 4 weekly flights from Damascus to Dubai on Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, to be raised soon to become a daily trip due to the increasing demand for this line.
As for the Damascus – Sharjah trips, it starts on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday, with the institution also seeking to make it a daily trip during the next stage, while the Damascus – Abu Dhabi trips will run on Tuesday and Friday, according to the Emirates News Agency.
The UAE Agency quoted the Director General of the Syrian Airlines, Sameh Orabi as saying that the return of direct flights to the UAE reflects the Foundation’s commitment to re -linking Syria to regional and international travel markets, especially the countries that embrace large Syrian communities, such as the Emirates, within the framework of a comprehensive operational plan to restore civil aviation movement and expand the network of Syrian Airlines.

Orabi, who accompanied the first flight to Dubai, added that “Syrian Air” is working to gradually raise the number of flights, noting that the demand for travel to and from the UAE is constantly increasing.
He called on travelers to follow up official ads and communicate with the carrier offices inside and outside Syria to obtain all the details and developments.
