Popular demonstrations continued around the world to demand an immediate and permanent cessation of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip. These demonstrations reached their peak in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, where thousands of protesters gathered in front of the American embassy there to denounce Washington’s support for the Israeli aggression. From Jakarta to the Tunisian capital, where the demands and positions denouncing the Israeli aggression and its supporters are the same, they were also echoed in the French capital, Paris, and Brussels in Belgium, passing through the Netherlands. They were preceded by demonstrations for the same purpose yesterday, Saturday, in Britain, Spain, and even New York City, calling for an immediate cessation of the aggression.
