The Government Information Office in Gaza announced on Sunday that the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has so far resulted in 28,822 martyrs and missing persons, including 9,100 children, and 1,825 massacres were committed, including against entire families, while the bombing continues throughout the Strip.
The Government Information Office said that there are 7,000 missing people, 56,451 injured, and 1.8 million displaced people in the Gaza Strip as a result of the continuing Israeli war.
The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics also indicated that the number of martyrs this year is the largest in Palestine since the Nakba of 1948.
For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll from the Israeli war on the Strip had risen to 21,822 martyrs.
She added that during the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation committed 12 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, leaving 150 martyrs and 286 injured.
The Ministry announced yesterday that the death toll reached 21,672, and 56,165 wounded.
The Israeli war on the besieged Strip led to the destruction of 70% of the buildings in Gaza, in addition to the destruction of the infrastructure in a way that made it beyond repair.
Today, the Israeli bombing targeted inhabited homes in Deir al-Balah and the Nuseirat camp in the center of the Gaza Strip and Khan Yunis in its south, leading to the death of dozens, including children. A bombing on the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City also resulted in the death of about 48 Palestinians.
