The Israeli occupation forces continued their attacks on the cities of the West Bank, and renewed their raids on Friday night and Saturday dawn on a number of towns and villages, and clashes broke out in several areas between Palestinian youth and the occupation soldiers.

In the city of Hebron, Manhattan Tribune’s correspondent reported that the occupation forces stormed the Al-Dhahr area in the town of Beit Ummar, north of the city, and raided citizens’ homes.

The Israeli occupation forces also stormed the Al-Samoud Hill area in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, and raided a number of homes in the area.

At the same time, the occupation forces fired bullets at an ambulance belonging to the Popular Committee for Services of Al-Arroub Camp, north of Hebron, directly hitting it after confrontations broke out in the camp.

Israeli settlers shot a young man in the village of Surif, north of Hebron.

Patrols in Qalqilya

The occupation forces stormed the city of Qalqilya in the West Bank from its southern axis, and conducted patrols in the Shreim neighborhood and Bank of Palestine Street, south of the city.

Confrontations broke out between Palestinian youth and the occupation forces, before the occupation forces withdrew at a later time.

In Jenin, Manhattan Tribune’s correspondent reported that Palestinian resistance fighters opened fire on the Al-Jalama military checkpoint north of the city of Jenin.

Injury in Qabatiya

Yesterday evening, Friday, a young man from the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, was injured by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets at a military checkpoint near the town of Asira.

The director of Jenin Hospital, Wissam Bakr, and security sources said that a young man from Qabatiya was injured by occupation bullets in the leg while passing through a military checkpoint near the town of Asira in the Nablus governorate. First aid was provided to him in Asira, and then he was transferred to Jenin Hospital.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the eastern region of Nablus from the Awarta checkpoint, south of the city, and also stormed the Al-Shweiki suburb in the city of Tulkarm, in the northern West Bank.

Funeral of a martyr

In the village of Beit Rima, northwest of the city of Ramallah in the West Bank, residents mourned the Palestinian boy Asid Al-Rimawi (17 years old), who was martyred by the bullets of occupation soldiers.

Video clips from a surveillance camera showed the moment the boy, Aseed Al-Rimawi, was hit by bullets. Other young men came to his rescue, but the occupation soldiers fired heavy bullets and injured a number of them. Military vehicles arrived at the site and prevented ambulance services for the martyr Al-Rimawi until he died.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said that 6 Palestinian youths were injured, including two seriously, during confrontations with the occupation forces that broke out in the center of the town after the occupation forces stormed.

The number of Palestinian martyrs shot by the Israeli occupation and settlers in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, since the beginning of the war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, has risen to 326 martyrs, including 7 martyrs in less than a week since the beginning of the current year 2024.
