The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the number of victims of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip had risen for the 74th day, while the occupation army announced new deaths and injuries among its ranks.
The Ministry said – in its daily update of its data – that the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip reached 19,667 martyrs, while the number of wounded was 52,586, announcing the death of dozens in an Israeli bombing of the Al-Rimal neighborhood in Gaza City, and the same situation in the bombing of the city of Rafah in the south.
On the other hand, the occupation army announced that 9 of its officers and soldiers were killed in the Gaza battles and 29 were wounded during the past 24 hours, bringing the number of its dead since the start of its ground operation to 137 officers and soldiers.
Dozens of killed in Gaza
An Manhattan Tribune correspondent reported that 50 Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli bombing of a building in the Al-Rimal neighborhood in Gaza City, adding that 50 missing persons whose fate is still unknown as a result of the Israeli bombing.
The reporter also reported that 16 Palestinians were martyred and more than 70 others were injured in Israeli bombing on the town and camp of Jabalia, north of the besieged Strip, confirming that they arrived at Jabalia Medical Center.
An Israeli raid targeted a house west of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, resulting in 12 martyrs and a number of injured.
The bombing targeted the building of the Safety Association in Jabalia al-Balad, following a bombing that targeted residential squares in Jabalia camp this morning, resulting in martyrs and injuries.
In Rafah, 30 Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli bombing of 3 homes in the city, south of the Gaza Strip. Manhattan Tribune’s correspondent said that among the martyrs was journalist Adel Zoroub.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation forces turned Al Awda Hospital into a military barracks and detained 240 people inside without water, food, or medicine.
A catastrophic humanitarian situation
On the humanitarian issue, the UN Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Tor Wensland, said that the high number of civilian casualties in Gaza is unprecedented in history.
Wensland added that Gaza witnessed the largest number of deaths among United Nations employees.
For his part, Fadel Naeem, head of the orthopedic department at Al-Ahli Al-Mamadani Hospital, announced that the hospital had stopped working and was out of service today after the Israeli army stormed it.
In a related matter, a spokesman for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said that he was angry that children recovering from amputations in Gaza hospitals were being killed there.
The spokesman confirmed that Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis was bombed twice during the past 48 hours, after a child was martyred in an Israeli bombing of the hospital where she was receiving treatment after her legs were amputated as a result of an Israeli raid.
West Bank confrontations
In the West Bank, Manhattan Tribune’s correspondent said that confrontations broke out in the town of Ya’bad, southwest of Jenin, after the occupation forces stormed the town and raided homes there.
The reporter also reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the towns of Surif and Beit Ummar, north of the city of Hebron, and the town of Bani Naim, east of it. As a result, confrontations broke out between Palestinian youths and the Israeli occupation forces.

At dawn today, the occupation forces stormed the town of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, and the Al-Fawwar camp, south of the city of Hebron.
In this context, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club announced that since yesterday evening, the occupation forces have arrested at least 30 citizens from the West Bank, including former prisoners, which raises the total number of arrests after October 7 to 4,605 detainees.
Resistance operations
As part of the resistance operations in Gaza, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that it had renewed its bombardment of Tel Aviv with a missile salvo in response to the Israeli massacres against civilians in the besieged Strip.
Manhattan Tribune’s correspondent reported that sirens sounded in Greater Tel Aviv and the city of Rishon LeZion, confirming that the sounds of explosions and missile interceptions were heard in the sky of Tel Aviv.
The occupation army stated that millions of Israelis were searching for refuge after the missile attack that was fired from the Gaza Strip.
The Al-Qassam Brigades also targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, and a “Hummer” jeep with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell, killing everyone in it after it was completely burned in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.
The Brigades reported that its fighters were able to detonate an explosive device with Israeli force barricaded in a house east of Khan Yunis, killing and wounding its members.
For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military arm of the Islamic Jihad movement, announced that 7 Israeli soldiers were killed or wounded after clashes it described as fierce in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza.
The brigades also announced that they had bombed Israeli army crowds east of Khan Yunis with missiles and mortars, and confirmed that they had caused direct casualties among their ranks, and that occupation helicopters were transporting the wounded.
Occupation losses
Israeli media said that 4 members of the elite forces, among 9 Israeli officers and soldiers, were killed during the past 24 hours in the battles taking place in the Gaza Strip.
Today, the Israeli army acknowledged the killing of an officer and two soldiers from the “Yahloum” unit in the battles in the south and north of the Gaza Strip, after announcing – yesterday – that 5 of its soldiers were killed in the battles there.
The occupation army confirmed that 29 soldiers were injured in the Gaza battles during the past 24 hours, amid clashes with Palestinian resistance factions in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
For its part, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that more than 2,800 soldiers are receiving treatment in the rehabilitation department of the Ministry of Defense since the beginning of the war on Gaza.
Movement in the detainees file
Regarding the issue of the truce and detainees in Gaza, Israeli President Isaac Herzog said that they are ready for another truce in Gaza to allow the release of more Israeli detainees.
For its part, the US State Department said that what it called an extended humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip could be reached if Hamas agreed to release the Israeli detainees.
The US Department added that Washington is “engaged constructively” in the Security Council to resolve outstanding issues regarding a draft resolution on Gaza, and that it fully affirms “meeting the humanitarian needs of the people of Gaza.”
The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth quoted American officials as saying that President Joe Biden “believes that the time has come to conclude an exchange deal” and that the return of what it called the kidnapped “is a higher goal.”
Northern borders
On the northern border with Lebanon, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted a Merkava tank near the Al-Malikiyah site “with appropriate weapons,” which led to its destruction and the killing and wounding of those inside it.
The Lebanese party also announced the killing of two members of its forces in the ongoing cross-border confrontations with the Israeli army.
On the other hand, the Israeli occupation army announced that warplanes launched a series of raids on military sites and infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
Politically, Axios reported that American officials are trying to reach a diplomatic solution between Lebanon and Israel, but without significant progress so far.
The American website indicated that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was informed – by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant – that Tel Aviv is ready to give diplomacy a chance, provided that progress occurs within weeks.
The Red Sea
The US Secretary of Defense announced the formation of a multinational force to protect trade in the Red Sea in the wake of the Houthi attacks.
Austin said that the participating countries include Britain, Bahrain, Canada, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Seychelles and Spain, and will carry out joint patrols in the southern Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
Also in the Red Sea, the US Central Command said that the Houthis carried out two attacks on two commercial ships in the south of the Red Sea yesterday.
The Central Command added that the oil tanker “Swan Atlantic” was attacked by a drone and an anti-ship ballistic missile.
She added that the cargo ship “Clara” reported an explosion in waters near its location in the southern Red Sea, noting that there were no reports of injuries in either incident.
In turn, Houthi spokesman Mohammed Abdel Salam told Manhattan Tribune that they only target ships heading to Israel, stressing that pressure on Tel Aviv must increase to stop its aggression and lift its siege on Gaza.
