On the 59th day of the Israeli war on Gaza, occupation aircraft intensified their raids on Khan Yunis in the south of the Gaza Strip, forming numerous belts of fire, with ground forces beginning an incursion into the southern region despite the intensity of resistance they are still encountering in the north.
Meanwhile, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, confirmed that there is no safe place in Gaza to flee to, commenting on the occupation’s warnings to residents to evacuate some areas, while UNRWA (the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees) confirmed the displacement of about 1.9 million people in Gaza. .
Occupation massacres
Hundreds of Palestinians were killed and injured in new raids, as occupation aircraft continued to bomb areas in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, and the bombing also escalated in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.
The raids also targeted residential neighborhoods and homes in Deir al-Balah and in the Bureij and Nuseirat camps in the central Gaza Strip.
The bombing intensified on Khan Yunis and its surroundings in the south, resulting in a large number of martyrs and wounded who were transported to the Nasser Medical Complex in the city, while the bombing obstructed the movement of ambulances.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the number of martyrs since the start of the Israeli war had risen to 15,899, while the number of injured reached 42,000, noting that 70% of the victims were women and children.
The Ministry added that the Israeli bombing put 20 hospitals out of service and completely destroyed more than 56 health institutions and more than 46 primary care centers.
Battle developments
Manhattan Tribune’s correspondent reported that the Palestinian resistance is engaged in fierce clashes with the occupation forces penetrating east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Satellite images obtained by Manhattan Tribune revealed the axes of the Israeli incursion into the south of the Gaza Strip, as they showed the concentration of occupation vehicles near the mills area north of Khan Yunis, as well as at the intersection of Salah al-Din and Kissufim Streets.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant announced – during a tour with senior officers on the outskirts of the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City – that the army had begun operations in the south of the Strip in parallel with continuing its operations in the north.
In other statements to the American ABC network, Gallant said that he expects the war to continue at its current intensity in Gaza for at least another two months, and that operations to “eliminate pockets of the Hamas movement” will continue for several months.
On the other hand, Abu Ubaida, spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that the brigades’ fighters had completely or partially destroyed 28 military vehicles in all fighting axes in the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours. The resistance also announced that it had killed a large number of occupation soldiers among One dead and one wounded.
At the same time, the resistance fired missiles at Tel Aviv and Sderot, and also bombed the Re’im base, the headquarters of the Israeli army’s Gaza Division.
On Monday morning, the occupation army acknowledged the killing of an officer and two soldiers during its operations in Gaza, bringing the death toll that it allowed to be published to 401 since the Al-Aqsa Flood operation on the seventh of last October.
Humanitarian situation
Communications and Internet services were cut off from the Gaza Strip for the fourth time, and the Palestinian Red Crescent said that it lost contact with the Gaza Operations Room and all its crews after the occupation cut off communications.
On the other hand, UNRWA announced the displacement of about 1.9 million people across the Gaza Strip since the start of the war, i.e. more than 80% of the population.
The agency indicated that the number of its employees killed in Gaza had risen to 111 within about two months.
Meanwhile, the UN spokesman said that Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on Israel to “avoid further actions that would exacerbate the already catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza and spare civilians further suffering.”
Guterres stressed that there is no safe place in Gaza to go for those called by Israel to evacuate their areas.
Developments in the West Bank
The occupation forces continued their operations, storming Qalqilya, Qalandiya camp, and the town of Sa’ir in Hebron, killing at least 5 Palestinians and wounding more than 30 others in various parts of the West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the number of martyrs killed by occupation bullets in the West Bank had risen to 259 martyrs since the seventh of last October.
Lebanese Front
Mutual shelling escalated on both sides of the border, as the Israeli army announced that 3 of its soldiers were injured as a result of shelling from southern Lebanon, and subsequently targeted several border towns.
The Lebanese Hezbollah launched attacks on 11 military sites and gatherings of soldiers in the Shtoula forest and the military site of the monk.

Political developments
The US State Department said that it is too early to make a final assessment of Israel’s response to American advice to protect civilians in its military operations, and added that it has not seen any evidence that the Israeli army is deliberately killing civilians in Gaza.
A ministry spokesman said that Israel is issuing more specific requests for evacuation in the southern Gaza Strip, which is an improvement compared to evacuating an entire city, according to him.
Meanwhile, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resign, saying in a statement, “It is time for this government to go home. Every day the insult gets worse. Those who fail in this way cannot continue.”
In the same context, former head of the Israeli Internal Security Service (Shin Bet), Yuval Diskin, said that Netanyahu should “return to his home now.”
