Palm Beach police are launching an investigation into the businessman Jeffrey Epstein after a 14 -year -old girl reported having been attacked at her home. Other teenage girls testify that Epstein would have hired them for sexual massages in addition to encourage them to recruit other young girls.
July 2006
Epstein is arrested and is accused of prostitution solicitation. The police criticize Prosecutor Barry Krischer, accusing him of granting preferential treatment to Epstein. The FBI begins its own investigation into the businessman.
2007
Epstein lawyers are trying to negotiate an agreement with the federal prosecutor in Miami, Alexander Acosta, to avoid Epstein federal charges.
June 2008
Jeffrey Epstein pleads guilty to charges of prostitution and prostitution solicitation of a minor. We will later learn that Epstein agreed with the federal prosecutor Acosta on these reduced leaders to avoid facing more serious federal accusations. Epstein is sentenced to 18 months in prison, but benefits from an arrangement allowing him to go out during the day to go to his office.
July 2009
Jeffrey Epstein comes out of prison. In the following decade, many victims ask that the agreement preventing federal proceedings against Epstein be canceled. Several women saying that she had been victims of sexual crimes are civil proceedings against Epstein.

THE Miami Herald Examine the management of the EPSTEIN file by the judicial authorities. The former federal prosecutor, Alexander Acosta, who became secretary to work in the Trump administration, is splashed.
July 6, 2019
Epstein is arrested and accused of sexual traffic by federal prosecutors, who say they are not required to comply with the agreement between Epstein and Acosta. The latter must resign from his post as secretary at work because of the scandal.

Prison guards find Jeffrey Epstein lifeless in his cell. Investigators conclude a suicide. Many conspiracy theories question their conclusion.

Federal prosecutors accuse Jeffrey Epstein’s partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, of having helped him recruit minor girls whom he would have abused sexually.
October 2021
Virginia Giuffre, who has already continued Jeffrey Epstein for sexual assaults committed while she was a minor, launched a prosecution against Prince Andrew, son of Queen Elizabeth II. An off -court agreement will be agreed.
December 30, 2021
Ghislaine Maxwell is found guilty of many charges, including sex trafficking and transport of minors for sexual activities.
June 28, 2022
Ghislaine Maxwell is sentenced to 20 years in prison.

In the middle of the electoral campaign, Donald Trump suggests that he will make Epstein files public. A commitment that appeals to part of its base, which claims “the list of Epstein customers”, supposed to contain the names of other members of the political and economic elite.

The United States General Prosecutor, Pam Bondi, claims to have on her desk “the list of Epstein customers”.
July 7, 2025
The Department of Justice, directed by Pam Bondi, indicates that Jeffrey Epstein has never had a “list of customers” and that no other document of investigations will be made public.

THE Wall Street Journal Details a health letter that Donald Trump would have sent to Jeffrey Epstein for his 50e birthday. Trump is launching a pursuit against the newspaper and its owner, the Rupert Murdoch media tycoon.

The Trump administration asks a federal court to make the reports of the great juries who led to the accusations against Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Judge Robin Rosenberg rejects the request to make public reports of large juries from 2005 and 2007. The House of Representatives assigned Ghislaine Maxwell to answer to answer questions from elected officials on August 11, 2025.
