- The exchange rate of the Syrian pound in Damascus, Aleppo and Idlib increased to 9850 pounds from 10 thousand pounds when purchasing, and increased to 10 thousand pounds from 10 thousand and 150 pounds upon sale.

Factors of influence on the exchange rate of the Syrian pound
- The Canadian government announced yesterday, plans to reduce the sanctions imposed on Syria during the transitional period, and to provide new funding for humanitarian aid with 84 million Canadian dollars ($ 58.4 million).
- Britain deleted 24 Syrian entities last week, from the list of sanctions, including the central bank, other banks and oil companies, and these entities are no longer subject to the freezing of assets.
- The European Union has suspended a package of sanctions imposed on Syria, some of which are related to energy, banks, transportation and reconstruction.
- The US sanctions temporarily lifted Syria to open the door to transactions with government institutions and energy transactions, and allowed the transfer of personal funds to the country, including through the Central Bank of Syria.
