The Secretary -General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, announced the preparation of a comprehensive Arab strategy for food security in the wake of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit in Baghdad.

Al -Sudani stressed the importance of working to achieve food security and cooperation in the field of the environment, provide safe havens for the affected people and enhance economic integration.

Today, Saturday, the Sudanese announced his country’s initiative to establish an Arab fund to support recovery efforts and post -crisis reconstruction, conflicts and wars.

He also announced the support of the reconstruction of Gaza as a result of the Israeli aggression for $ 20 million, and the same for Lebanon.

Economic and development suggestions

On Friday, the Iraqi government spokesman, on Friday, revealed a series of initiatives that Iraq presented to the Arab Economic and Social Council.

Al -Awadi said that one of the most prominent initiatives that were approved during the meetings:

  • The initiative of the Arab Trade Ministers.
  • The Arab initiative to achieve food security from grains.
  • The era of Arab economic reform for the next era.
  • The initiative to establish the Arab Center for Artificial Intelligence.
  • The Arab Initiative to provide a safe haven for disaster and risks.
  • The initiative to enhance Arab housing.
