The richest politicians in the United States share a fortune estimated at US$9.02 billion , the financial magazine Finbold revealed earlier this week.
According to this compilation, seven of the politicians in the top 10 are Republican, including real estate mogul and former President Donald Trump, who ranks second with a fortune estimated at around US$2 billion
However, it is a Democrat, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, who occupies the top of the pyramid with assets estimated at US$3.4 billion
It must be said that the disparities within this list are immense. The politician who comes in 10th place, Virginia Democratic Senator Mark Warner, actually has only US$215 million, 16 times less than Mr. Pritzker.
