(Dallas) A man opened fire on Tuesday on a retention center for the American immigration police (ICE) in Dallas, Texas, killing a person and injuring two others, before killing himself, the federal authorities announced.
President Donald Trump quickly accused the “radical left” of encouraging “violence”, as he did after the assassination of ultra -conservative influencer Charlie Kirk on September 10.
An embusing shooter on the roof of a nearby building opened fire on a building from ICE in Dallas, in the south of the United States, affecting three prisoners inside a van, the Ministry of Internal Security said in a press release.

“An inmate is dead and two others are in critical condition,” added the ministry, which had previously reported a balance sheet of two killed and a wounded. Their nationality has not been revealed, but Mexico announced that one of its nationals was one of the injured.
The American president has erected the fight against illegal immigration in absolute priority, evoking an “invasion” of the United States by “criminals from abroad” and communicating abundantly on the expulsions of immigrants, of which the ICE is one of the main instruments.
“This violence is the result of the constant demonization of the police by the radical left democrats, who call to demolish ICE and treat the agents of Ice of” Nazis “,” said Donald Trump on his Truth Social network.
The assailant had inscribed the expression “anti-aic” on one of his ammunition, he said.
Tensions crystallize in particular around the descents of masked agents of the ICE in civilian in civilians with a large immigrant population.
In July, the NGO Human Rights Watch accused the American authorities of treating prisoners “degrading and dehumanizing” in detention centers for migrants, evoking “conditions which constitute a blatant violation of international standards in matters of human rights”.
Third attack in Texas

The assailant was identified by several media like Joshua Jahn, 29, known to local police services, notably for cannabis detention.
The targeted building serves as a pre -retention center for migrants, before they are transferred to establishments capable of welcoming them for longer periods, according to American media.
This is the third attack in less than three months in Texas, a bordering state of Mexico, against the immigration or borders.
On July 4, the day of the national holiday, a police officer was injured in the neck during an attack on another ICE retention center near Dallas.
According to the judicial authorities, several attackers were involved, including one who pulled 20 to 30 bullets on unarmed prison agents, and several rifles, bulletproof vests and talkies-talkies were found on the spot. Ten people were charged in this case.
And on July 7, a man was killed after opening fire on a border police building in Texas, McAllen, on the border with Mexico, after having injured two police officers and an employee, according to the Ministry of Homeland Security.
