(Washington) Donald Trump said Friday that he saw “no reason at this time” to invoke the Insurrection Actwhich would allow him to use the army as a police force, after brandishing this threat the day before in the face of demonstrations in Minnesota.

“If I needed it, I would use it. I think there is no reason at the moment to do so,” the American president said.
There Insurrection Actcompilation of laws from the 18th centurye and XIXe centuries, is a form of state of emergency which allows the federal state to use the army for the purposes of maintaining order on American territory.
