A video that quickly went viral online shows police officers outside a two-story home on Burlington Street in Arlington.
The operation seems to be proceeding normally when suddenly, the house is literally pulverized by an explosion which transforms the house into a ball of fire and throws debris in all directions.
Arlington County police briefly explained that the suspect allegedly “fired a flare gun into his residence.”
“As officers attempted to enforce a search warrant, the suspect fired multiple shots into the home. Subsequently, an explosion occurred,” the police then added on X, specifying that they were investigating the cause of the explosion.

Despite the violence of the explosion, the officers present on site escaped with minor injuries. No police officers needed to go to the hospital.
