(New York) Long before the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the rhetoric of Stephen Miller froze the blood of the Americans who are worried about the future of their democracy.
During an intervention on Sean Hannity on Fox News on August 25, the deputy chief of staff of the White House and national security advisor provided an example of his approach. At one point, the host told his guest that the Democrats had “not raised their little finger to solve the problem” of crime in Chicago, where violent crimes, in fact, dropped by 21.9 % in 2024, according to police data. Miller replied:
“The Democratic Party does not fight for American citizens, does not care about them and does not represent them. This is a consecrated entity exclusively In defense of hardened criminals, gang members, illegal foreign killers and terrorists. The Democratic Party is not a political party. It is a national extremist organization. »»
However, the simple fact of quoting these words does not allow them to do justice to their virulence when they leave Miller’s mouth. You also have to see and hear the character pronounce them during this intervention or others to take the full measure of the fervor that dictates them. A fervor that borders on hatred.
“We were invaded”
Stephen Miller is not more posed or measured when he intervenes on X. Irritated by the trial judges which prevent him from carrying out his project without constraint from expelling 1 million migrants per year, he laid a long diatribe on March 29 on the Elon Musk platform, brushing a dystopian portrait of his country. Here are extracts:
“We were invaded and busy. Entire neighborhoods have been won over. Whole cities have been submitted. Our treasure was looted. Our democracy was torn piece by piece. A national referendum was organized to determine whether to go to the invasion or repel it. America voted for release. »»
The invasion armies and foreign intruders will be expelled. The cartels will be broken. Liberation will be reached.
Stephen Miller
The man who wrote these lines is not just any internet user whose hostility towards immigrants would have been exacerbated by reading the novel by Jean Raspail The Camp des SaintsReference work of the extreme right.
Stephen Miller is perhaps the most powerful non-elect in the world. Even if his official titles do not say it, he dictates his wishes to officials of the departments of justice, defense and internal security.
Chief Ideologist of the Trump administration, he is responsible for his most controversial policies, including the deployment of national guard soldiers in Los Angeles and Washington, the assault against universities and diversity, equity and inclusion programs, the presence of masked agents in the streets and the immigration courts and the extrajudicial executions of the allegedly in international waters.
In a portrait dedicated to Miller, the magazine Rolling Stone listed the titles given to him by his colleagues, many of whom tremble in front of him: “Secretary to the ghost defense”; “Prime Minister Miller”; “The real Attorney General”; “The boss of the DHS (Department of Internal Security)”; “President Miller”.
Dismantle the “radical left organizations”
In short, when Stephen Miller speaks, you have to listen to it. The 40 -year -old Californian is not just Donald Trump’s entire support. He also has all the powers to implement his projects. And what he has offered since the assassination of Charlie Kirk is worthy of an authoritarian state.
“The last message that Charlie Kirk gave me before joining his creator in Paradise was that we had to dismantle and face radical leftist organizations in this country that fomes violence. We are going to do that, ”said Miller last Sunday evening on Fox News.
“And we are going to do it under the direction of President Trump. I don’t care. (…) But we are going to do what it takes to dismantle the organizations and entities that fomes riots, which make personal data disclosure (doxxing), who try to inspire terrorism, which commit acts of free violence. The power of the police, under the direction of President Trump, will be used to find you, to withdraw your money, your power and, if you have violated the law, to deprive yourself of your freedom. »»

JD Vance hosted a posthumous program of Charlie Kirk’s Balado on Monday, in which Stephen Miller participated.
The next day, he added a layer by promising to “channel all our anger in front of the organized campaign which led to this assassination to uproot and dismantle these terrorist networks”.
“With God as a witness, we will use all the resources we have at the Ministry of Justice, in domestic security and throughout this government to identify, disturb, dismantle and destroy these networks and make America again sure for the American people. This will happen and we will do it on behalf of Charlie, “said Stephen Miller to JD Vance, who hosted a posthumous program of Charlie Kirk’s Broad.
These statements inspired the Democratic Senator of Connecticut Chris Murphy a row of comments on X, including these: “Pay attention. Something dark could happen. The murder of Charlie Kirk could have united the Americans to face political violence. Instead, Trump and his anti -democratic radicals seem to prepare a campaign aimed at destroying dissent. (…) The right has long been looking for a pretext to destroy its opposition. Increasingly, the right considers the left as (a threat) existential for a nation with a white and Christian majority and must therefore be destroyed at all costs, as Michael Anton (essayist and member of the Trump administration) wrote. »»
