(Washington) Police arrested one person Sunday as part of the investigation into the shooting at Brown University in Providence, the mayor of the Rhode Island city announced.

“We are lifting the containment measures put in place at Brown University with immediate effect,” added Brett Smiley during a press conference.
Shootings on the campus of Brown University, one of the most prestigious in the United States, left two dead and nine injured on Saturday, all students, local authorities announced, with the perpetrator still being hunted on Sunday by the police.
