A woman allegedly stabbed her friend after the latter made a comment about the cleanliness of the house, which contained traces of dog feces and dead mice, in the state of Nebraska.
Lincoln police officers were called to the home of 24-year-old Tatiana Iniguez after an argument between two people.
According to the police report, Tatiana’s friend deplored the fact that two children lived in an environment littered with excrement.
These remarks allegedly led to the argument, which was followed by a stabbing.
Iniguez allegedly threatened her friend several times before stabbing her with a knife. She was injured in the eye, but there is no fear for her life.
The facts, which occurred on February 11, led to the arrest of the American for armed assault and possession of a prohibited weapon, according to Law&Crime Network.
The police officers who went inside the home confirmed that Tatiana’s house was in a pitiful state.
A “large” knife was found near the crime scene, authorities add.
The woman remains detained pending payment of US$25,000 bail.
