A New York urologist is facing a class-action lawsuit over allegations he tortured multiple male patients, the report says. New York Post.
The prosecution’s attorney, representing 143 alleged victims, told the newspaper that Darius Paduch had “exploited more male patients than any predator in history” and that he may have had thousands of victims, including minors.
The lawsuit was filed Thursday in Manhattan Supreme Court.
According to court documents, Darius Paduch injected a serum into some patients’ penises, which caused erections to last for long periods of time. The urologist allegedly performed cystoscopies, in which a tube was inserted into the urethra, without any anesthetic.
The man who worked for Weill Cornell Medical Center, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University and Northwell Health Systems allegedly humiliated patients. The urologist allegedly asked some individuals to masturbate in front of him while listening to pornography. One of the alleged victims is said to be 13 years old.
Mr. Paduch was arrested in April 2023. He was convicted of 13 counts of sexual abuse in federal court during a criminal trial. He faces a maximum sentence of 60 years in prison.
