The Israeli army indicated Monday evening that it had intercepted “a few” projectiles out of a total of “around five fired” from Lebanon, the others having “fallen on uninhabited areas”.

Around 11:15 p.m. (3:15 p.m. Eastern time), warning sirens sounded in many locations in central Israel, even in the north of the Tel Aviv metropolis, according to Israeli passive defense.
The army then indicated that it had identified “approximately five projectiles” fired from Lebanon and having entered Israeli airspace.
“A few were intercepted” by the Air Force, “and the others fell on uninhabited areas, according to a brief military statement.
