Türkiye has become the only way of the remainder of Russian gas to Europe after Ukraine’s decision not to extend the transfer agreement with Moscow, which was 5 years, at the end of its term on January 1.

Accounts based on data from the European gas transport group “Integg” showed that Russian gas exports via the pipeline left Stream decreased to 45 million cubic meters per day this month from 55.8 million cubic meters per day in February.

This number also decreased by 46.4 million cubic meters in March 2024.

Reuters accounts indicate that the total number of Russian gas supplies to Europe via the pipeline left the Stream of 4.5 billion cubic meters in the first three months of this year, a decrease from 7.7 billion cubic meters during the same period last year.

Gazprom data and Reuters accounts show that Russia has provided Europe by about 63.8 billion cubic meters of gas through various tracks in 2022.

This number decreased 55.6% to 28.3 billion cubic meters in 2023, but rose to about 32 billion cubic meters in 2024.
