The Syrian Civil Aviation Authority announced today, Saturday, the restart of the Aleppo International Airport in front of the air traffic next Tuesday, about 3 months after its closure.
The official Syrian News Agency (SANA) quoted the authority as saying that the airport is ready to receive flights, after completing all technical and administrative equipment.
The authority called on all airlines wishing to run its flights from Aleppo International Airport and to him to use the airport starting next Tuesday.
“In conjunction with the restart of the Aleppo International Airport next Tuesday, local and international flights will be received,” she added.
By the end of last November, the authorities of the ousted Assad regime closed Aleppo Airport and canceled all flights, in conjunction with the success of the opposition factions at the time in extracting control of the airport east of the city.
