Qatar Energy has signed a long-term sale and purchase agreement with Guangzhou Gwanggang “G-Gas” to supply 100 million cubic feet of helium gas annually from Qatar to China.
According to a statement of Qatar Energy Company, this 20 -year agreement – is the first direct, long -term convention to supply helium from Qatar to China.
High -level helium supplies from global -level helium facilities will be supplied in Ras Luvan, according to the statement.
“China is a major market and a major destination for the Qatari shelium, and we are happy to enter into this direct and long-term partnership with J-Gas Company within our endeavors to meet the increasing demand for helium in China and all over the world. “
The minister added: “Qatar is one of the largest countries exporting the world in the world. Within a few years, our productive capacity of helium gas will double with the operation of the expansion projects of the North Field, which will support a wide range of sectors and industries that depend on helium to push human development.” .
