Qatar and Syria signed a memorandum of understanding today to increase transport rights and enhance cooperation in the field of civil aviation.
The Qatar News Agency said that the person in charge of conducting the work of the General Authority of Civil Aviation in the State of Qatar, Muhammad Faleh Al -Hajri, met with the head of the Syrian General Authority for Civil Aviation, witnessing the Crusader, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the field of civil aviation between the two countries.
During the meeting, which was held in the Qatari capital, Doha, a memorandum of understanding aimed at increasing air transport rights between Syria and Qatar was signed, and ways of enhancing cooperation in the field of civil aviation services were discussed, including air navigation, infrastructure and cooperation in the field of training and development.
It is noteworthy that a Qatari passenger plane landed last month at Damascus International Airport for the first time in about 13 years, on the first day of the resumption of international flights in Syria.
