The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club said that the Israeli occupation authorities continue to detain the bodies of 17 Palestinian prisoners, including 6 prisoners who were martyred after last October 7, including two workers from Gaza.
The number of Palestinian detainees from the West Bank in Israeli prisons has risen to 4,630 since October 7, following the arrest of 25 people on Wednesday.
The club added that the number of arrests of women during the same period exceeded 150, in addition to 260 children.
The club revealed that 6 citizens were martyred in occupation prisons since the start of the war, while arrests among journalists reached 46.
Regarding administrative detention orders, the Prisoner’s Club said that they exceeded 2,200, in addition to forced disappearances against Gaza Strip detainees.
The West Bank is witnessing a widespread campaign of arrests, accompanied by widespread abuse, severe beatings, and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to field investigations, widespread sabotage and destruction of citizens’ homes, and direct shooting to kill.
Since the outbreak of the devastating war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, the Israeli army has intensified its military operations in the West Bank and increased the pace of incursions and raids into towns and camps, leaving dozens of victims and thousands of detainees.
