Indeed, 13% of respondents to the Marquette University Law School study believe that at 59, Kamala Harris is too old to be president. That number jumps to 57% for the 78-year-old Republican candidate. Nearly 79% of registered voters believed that Joe Biden, who is 81, was too old to win a second term in the White House.
Voters also said Harris was less corrupt than Biden, with 35% questioning her integrity, compared to 44% for the incumbent. About 61% said Trump had behaved “corruptly.”
However, the Republican is seen as a strong leader by 56% of Americans surveyed, compared to 50% for the new Democratic candidate.
Let us recall that the arrival of Kamala Harris in the race for the White House seems to have broken the momentum of Donald Trump’s campaign. Indeed, after having dominated the polls in recent weeks, the former president’s support seems to be running out of steam since 53% of voters support the former prosecutor, against 47% for the former president.
