(San Francisco) Some 130,000 San Francisco residents were plunged into darkness Saturday evening by a power outage, the city’s main power company said.

“We are working with response teams and city officials on an outage in San Francisco affecting approximately 130,000 customers,” Pacific Gas & Electric Company said in a statement on X.

The municipality asked residents to stay at home, with some traffic lights not working and public transport disrupted.
