A vehicle that looks like a spaceship was intercepted on Monday on a road in Oklahoma, United States, as it was heading to a festival dedicated to extraterrestrial phenomena.
The vehicle was headed to New Mexico, where the UFO Festival is being held through Sunday to celebrate “the fascination with extraterrestrial phenomena and embrace the wonders that await beyond the stars,” according to the event’s website.
Highway patrol officers joked on Facebook that “it’s not every day you stop a UFO,” the New York Post reported Friday, adding that the same “space” vehicle had already been stopped by Missouri officers during a traffic stop.
The driver of the UFO vehicle was operating with a camouflaged license plate and was not in compliance with the law before being caught committing a traffic violation, according to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office cited by the NYP.
“Given the kindness of the driver and the interesting nature of the vehicle, we chose to make a fun social media post for our community,” Undersheriff Major Adam Carnal told Fox News Digital.
