The editorial section of the Philadelphia Inquirer justified this release by evoking “an explosive litany of lies” on the part of Donald Trump. The newspaper denounced “the lies, intolerance and ignorance” of the man who was the 45th president of the United States.
“His performance has demonstrated once again that he is a danger to democracy and unfit to hold office,” the newspaper wrote on Saturday.
“Trump, 78, has been on the political scene for eight years marked by chaos, corruption and incivility. Why go back to that?” the daily added.
The editorial section deplores Donald Trump’s lack of accountability for his actions on January 6, 2021, during the storming of the Capitol.
The newspaper admitted that Joe Biden is experiencing some difficulties. Moreover, the editorial board of the prestigious American newspaper New York Times called on Biden to withdraw from the race after the debate.
The Philadelphia Daily noted more than 30 lies told by Donald Trump during the debate. The newspaper also relied on Biden’s experience.
“Yes, Biden had a horrible night. He’s 81 and not as sharp as he used to be. But Biden, on his worst day, is still light years ahead of Trump,” the Philadelphia Inquirer.
