A Phoenix, Arizona resident had the scare of his life when a vehicle flew through the air before brushing the roof of his shed and then hitting a power pole head-on.
Video obtained by CNN shows a vehicle collide with a low wall before being thrown into the air, clipping the roof of the small building before crashing to the ground.
The driver then fled the scene, leaving his car overturned on its roof.
Fortunately, the shed was not damaged in the accident.
“I thought a bomb had fallen,” says the owner of the land, Daniel Miller. I’m surprised the car didn’t end up in my yard. “It could have gone through the wall of the shed.”
An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances which led to this accident.
