Israeli warplanes bombed the Jaffa Mosque – one of the largest mosques in the city of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip – leveling it to the ground, leaving complete destruction in it and the surrounding area.
The bombing also targeted Jaffa Specialized Hospital, which had received large numbers of elderly people, causing it to be out of service, according to the hospital director, Dr. Mashhour Al-Mabhouh.
The hospital was severely damaged – according to Al-Mabhouh – especially the operating and surgical departments, clinics and emergency departments, as well as medical equipment, as a continuation of the occupation’s campaign on the health sector to push citizens to leave and be displaced.
