A dozen days before the end of the presidential campaign, Donald Trump is the target of numerous attacks and revelations, including new allegations of sexual assault. Will this really have an effect on the Republican’s chances of being elected?

The former US president was accused of sexually assaulting a model he met through Jeffrey Epstein during the 1990s, reported The Guardian, Wednesday.
“The timing is important, we are less than two weeks before the election, but it is part of a broader plan. This type of interview is never a coincidence,” underlined Jean-Marc Léger, president of the Léger firm.
Earlier in the week, Donald Trump’s former chief of staff, John Kelly, called the Republican candidate a fascist.
“It became the question at the ballot box, that’s what the Democrats decided to do. Every day, you are going to have denunciations of this behavior from Donald Trump,” predicted the specialist in an interview with LCN on Thursday.
Donald Trump, however, appears to enjoy a sort of immunity from allegations of sexual misconduct.
“Any other politician, even in the United States (…), every time there is a denunciation like that, normally it is the end of their career. For Donald Trump, he always managed to get by,” recalled Mr. Léger.
“It’s a real effect (on the campaign), but is it enough? It will depend on how it develops over the coming days,” he judges.
“What is certain is that this means that Trump remains the focus of the campaign and when voters enter the voting booth, the question that arises is: ‘Can I trust this individual- there?” he said.
So far, the latest polls show it’s still a close election race.
“There is a contradiction in the polls, but I guarantee you that over the next few days, the pollsters will converge,” indicated Mr. Léger.
