An Easter brunch turned into a nightmare after a shooting Sunday at a restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee.
At least one person was killed and four others injured in this shooting which broke out at the Roasted restaurant in the Salemtown neighborhood, according to the Nashville Metropolitan Police.
Several ambulances were dispatched to the scene to evacuate the injured, including a pregnant woman, while other customers ran in all directions after leaving the restaurant, according to what the “New York Post” reported.
While the restaurant’s customers were seated for the Christian holiday, a man took out his weapon to shoot at point blank range, before fleeing in his Mercedes vehicle in an unknown direction.
According to a witness interviewed by the local newspaper “The Tennessean”, a conflict between two men escalated, before one of them drew his weapon and fired at every turn.
“Investigators are working to determine the motive of this gunman who opened fire during Sunday brunch at Roasted on Garfield Street,” Metro Nashville Police said in a statement.
